Welcome!
My name is Sarah, I’m 24 years old. I’m currently a college student in the Northern Virginia area.
Back in the fall of 2015, I did the Disney College program. What is the Disney College Program? Well I’m glad you asked!
The Disney College Program is an internship where you can work for the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, or the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California for a semester. You pretty much live and breath the Disney Magic. Boy, is it a trip and a half. You can be there for about four or five months to up to a year.
As I mentioned before, I was a DCP (Disney College Program) Fall 2015 participant at Disney World. I was there from August 2015 to early January 2016. My role (job position) was parking attendant at Hollywood Studios. I was in the banana suit of a costume (costume=uniform) doing doughnuts in the parking lot. Fun times.
In this blog I’ll dive deep into my time during my program. I’ll be giving tips from how to apply, what to pack for the program, travel tips, to the tricks of trade on how to pick roommates and how to make the most of your time of your program. Also I’ll be here to help give any travel tips for your future Disney family vacations, with the help of my niece and nephew, Camilla and Owen (families need fresh ideas from a kid’s point of view!)
This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
